Clause Lens is designed to keep your documents private. This policy covers the Clause Lens app and our website, clauselens.online, both operated by Nuraveda Labs.
Your lease text
When you tap "analyze", your lease text is sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) to produce the report. We do not store your lease text or the report on our servers, it is processed and then discarded. Anthropic processes the text under its standard API terms and does not use it to train its models.
On your device
Your review history, including the report and quoted clauses, is stored only on your device, never on our servers or any cloud. You can delete any saved review at any time from the History tab.
If you create an account
Signing in is optional. If you do, we store an account identifier and your credit balance and purchase records with our provider Supabase (United States) so your credits sync across devices. We never store your lease text with your account. You can delete your account at any time from Settings, or by emailing us, which removes this account data.
Website cookies and advertising
Our website (clauselens.online) uses the Meta Pixel and Meta Conversions API. When enabled, these share limited information, your IP address, browser identifiers stored in cookies (such as _fbp and _fbc), and the pages you view, with Meta to measure and improve advertising. You choose whether to allow this through the cookie banner, you can change your choice at any time using the “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link, and we honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal. If you decline or GPC is on, these tools do not load.
In-app analytics
In the app we use privacy-respecting product analytics (Google Firebase Analytics) and crash reporting (Sentry) to understand how the app is used and to fix problems. These collect device and usage information only. They never include your lease text, quoted clauses, or report contents.
Where your data is processed
Your data is processed in the United States by our providers: Anthropic (analysis), Supabase (accounts and credits), Google/Firebase and Sentry (analytics and crash reporting), Meta (website advertising), and Apple and RevenueCat (purchases). If you are in Canada or elsewhere, your information is transferred to and processed in the United States.
Payments
Purchases are handled by Apple's App Store; we never receive your payment card details. RevenueCat records purchase events for revenue analytics.
Your choices and rights
Cookies and ads: use the cookie banner or the “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link; we honor Global Privacy Control. California residents (CCPA/CPRA): you have the right to know, delete, and correct your personal information, and to opt out of its sale or sharing; we will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. Canada residents (PIPEDA and BC PIPA): you may access and correct your personal information. To exercise any right, email [email protected]; we aim to respond within 45 days.
What we don't do
We do not sell your data for money and do not require an account to use the core app. Aside from the website advertising tools described above, our analytics never include your document text.
Children
Clause Lens is for adults; you must be 18 or older to use it. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
